Manager of Public Programs
Heritage seeks and enthusiastic individual who enjoys engaging with the public. This person will be responsible for creating and managing engaging and effective programs and events that respond to the needs of Heritage Museums & Gardens’ (HMG’s) varied audiences. Includes working collaboratively with internal and external partners, tracking and reporting data, and conducting evaluation that leads to continual improvement of programs and the visitor experience.

Development Coordinator
Heritage Museums & Gardens seeks a bright and highly motivated individual to help support Heritage’s fundraising operations. The Development Coordinator will be responsible for development administration, database maintenance, customer service, event and grant support, and membership assistance.

Admissions & Database Coordinator
This is a full-time year-round position. The Admissions & Database Coordinator is responsible for upholding HMG policies and procedures while facilitating a safe, positive, and engaging experience for museum visitors, and for acting as an available resource and support for staff. Primary duties include: 1) Supporting front-line positions related to ticketing and information services, including processing admissions, membership, and public programs registration transactions, and answering general telephone and email inquiries about HMG; 2) Providing database support and management with a focus on program construction and admissions data organization; 3) Booking and facilitating the school group visit process, and 4) Assisting with supervising the Visitor Experience staff and managing daily operations when the Director of Visitor Experience is not present.

Part Time Opportunities
Education Specialist - Interpreter
Heritage seeks energetic and outgoing people who love museums to join our Visitor Experience staff. This seasonal, up to 32 hours per week, part-time position focuses on providing memorable guest experiences, encouraging visitor interactions and facilitating learning through exploration. Responsibilities include leading guided tours for school and adult groups and engaging with children and families in Hidden Hollow, Heritage’s outdoor discovery area. Successful candidates will love teaching, learning, and working with people of all ages. Requirements include a background in education or related experience, excellent people skills, and a commitment to teamwork. Experience in museum or informal education and in customer service preferred. Some weekend and evening availability required.

Indigenous Interpreter
Heritage seeks energetic, outgoing, museum-loving members of Indigenous communities to join our Visitor Experience staff. This seasonal, up to 16 hours per week, part-time position focuses on providing high-quality, memorable visitor experiences centered around fostering public understanding of the history and culture of the Wampanoag people. Successful candidates will love working with people of all ages, and will enjoy sharing information and making connections between visitors and Heritage’s reproduction Wampanoag wetu, mush8n, and Three Sisters Garden outdoor exhibits. Requirements include excellent people skills and commitment to teamwork. Museum or customer service background and previous knowledge of Wampanoag history preferred. Saturdays and some evening availability required.
