One Day University was formed in 2006 by Steve Schragis. Programs are offered in major cities such as New York, Boston and Philadelphia, and often sell out weeks ahead of time. According to Heritage Museums & Gardens President and Chief Executive Officer Ellen Spear, the chance to both educate and entertain the Cape Cod community fits the mission exactly.
“We are thrilled to partner with One Day University to bring some of the country’s top professors to Cape Cod for a day of learning, exploration and fun,” she said. “Adult education and lifelong learning opportunities are at the core of Heritage’s mission. Our goal is to be a 21st century learning center for people of all ages.” There are no homework, grades or entrance exams.
The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fee: $149 per person. Pre-registration recommended. For reservations, call 800-300-3438 or reserve online at www.onedayu.com.
