Heritage is proud to announce the addition of two new items to the Museum Store: a scarf featuring a photo of one of Heritage’s rhododendrons and a necktie featuring Heritage’s 1927 LaSalle Phaeton created by Rennie & Rose. From a photograph of the Rhododendron Scintillation, Rennie & Rose highlighted the brightest section of the photograph and created what appears to be a hand painted scarf that makes the perfect gift for someone special… even if that someone special is you! One of a kind and only $49! When Heritage Museums & Gardens decided to design a men’s tie, we needed look no further than the Harley Earl designed 1927 LaSalle Phaeton. One of only ten manufactured, it is widely believe that the only one left in existence resides in the Heritage collection. A dressy way to show your love of antique cars! Our tie is 100% silk and only $42.
This past winter, after our 250-year-old European Beech Tree succumbed to disease and after a Japanese Flowering Cherry Tree planted by Mr. Lilly in 1968 and a Maackia tree planted in the 1930’s were lost during Blizzard NEMO, Heritage had the trees carefully removed and preserved for local artists to create one-of-a-kind items. Now, the first items from artist Robert Reynolds’ collection are available for purchase in the Museum Store. You can own unique bowls hand-crafted from the wood of these historic Heritage trees.
