DESCRIPTION:\nHave you ever wanted to know what it is like working with honeybees? Members of the Barnstable County Beekeepers Association will host a community engagement table to share their bee-related stories and knowledge. They will also have an observation frame for a closeup view inside a honeybee hive. Stop by to learn about honeybees, Cape Cod’s local pollinators, and how to support them in your own yard.\nThis program will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, activities will be held inside the Heald Center at the J.K. Lilly III Automobile Gallery.\nThis program is free with museum admission or membership. No advance registration required.\n \nAbout Barnstable County Beekeepers Association\nThe Barnstable County Beekeepers Association (BCBA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. It has been active for more than 40 years and its membership includes more than 450 households on Cape Cod and the surrounding area. The club runs a number of annual activities around beekeeping, holds an annual bee school for “newbies,” can be found doing community outreach, and hosts the Honey House at the Barnstable County Fair in summers and during the Harvest Festival in the fall.\n\n\nLocation: McGraw Family Garden of the Senses\n\n
