SUMMARY:Write Out Cape Cod
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the launch of Write Out Cape Cod at Heritage Museums & Gardens! During our main season closing weekend, October 17 & 18, visitors are invited to pause, reflect, and share their experience at Heritage in just a few words while overlooking the Flume Fountain in the Clarissa S. Nye Visitor Center.\nVisitor contributions will become part of a collective celebration of the people and moments that made this season at Heritage memorable.\nThis program is free with museum admission or membership. No advance registration required.\nAbout Write Out Cape Cod \nThe 2026 launch of Write Out Cape Cod is the first regional collaboration of its kind in the nation, uniquely linking Cape Cod’s rich arts community and its protected natural environment. Championed by Barnstable Land Trust and inspired by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod ( https://www.artsfoundation.org/ )‘s Creative Conversation Series. Write Out Cape Cod is inspired by the national Write Out ( https://writeout.nwp.org/ ) campaign, which was originally developed through a cooperative agreement between the National Writing Project (NWP) and the National Park Service. This year’s theme, Write Where We Stand, centers writing in the places that shape and sustain us.\nLocation: The Clarissa S. Nye Visitor Center\n
