Heritage Museums & Gardens is participating in the 8th annual Free Fun Fridays program sponsored by the Highland Street Foundation. On Friday, July 1, 2016, Heritage Museums & Gardens will open its doors at no cost to visitors all day long. Free Fun Fridays is a program that includes 80 museums and cultural venues across Massachusetts. Each Friday this summer, there will be eight venues open for free. Due to parking lot construction, parking availability is limited. Heritage is offering free parking and free trolley service from the Wing School at 33 Water Street, Sandwich, to Heritage’s front gate. Visitors can easily use the ample parking at the Wing School and take this fun, free 5 minute trolley ride to enjoy Free Fun Friday. Signs on Rt. 130 will direct you to the parking area. The trolley will be running in a continuous loop all day, picking up at each end approximately every 10 minutes. Please note, the trolley is not handicap accessible. Handicap accessible parking will be available at Heritage Museums & Gardens.
Free Fun Friday is not valid for The Adventure Park at Heritage. However, The Adventure Park will celebrate with a Family Fun Friday on July 1 with discounted climbing rates with use of a special promo code. Please note that reservations are required this year for visits to The Adventure Park. For more information and to reserve a climb time on Friday, July 1 with the special promo code, click here.
