I’m so excited to visit during Gardens Aglow! What days and times is it open?
Gardens Aglow is Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm from November 24 – December 17. Friday, Dec 22; Friday, December 22; Friday, December 29, and Saturday, December 30. Please note: ticket sales end at 7:30 pm each night. Guests may enjoy the event until 8:30 pm.
How much are Gardens Aglow tickets?
Gardens Aglow tickets are:
Member Adults (12+): $15
Member Youth (3-18 years): $5
Non-Member Adults (12+): $18
Non-Member Youth (3-11 years): $7
Children ages 2 and under are free

I’m a Member at Heritage and have a complimentary pass that came with my membership. May I use that pass at Gardens Aglow?
Gardens Aglow is a special, ticketed event. The complimentary pass that accompanies certain membership levels is valid toward general admission for our regular season which runs from mid-April to mid-October, but not for Gardens Aglow.
May I purchase my admission tickets in advance of my visit?
Yes, we encourage you to purchase admission tickets in advance and print them at home through our online ticketing system. Click here to purchase tickets online. Tickets are valid for a one time use during any Gardens Aglow evening.
I pre-purchased my Gardens Aglow tickets online. Where do I check in?
When you arrive, bring your pre-printed tickets with you and present them at the Advance Sales area, which will be marked.
I’m a Member. Is there a special line for me to purchase tickets at Gardens Aglow?
Yes, this year members gain easy entry at a members-only line.
I purchased tickets online but it’s the night of Gardens Aglow and I did not receive a confirmation email/I was not able to print my tickets before coming. Am I still able to skip the lines?
Yes! Bring your order confirmation number (if you have it) and come to the Advance Sales area. It is fastest and most convenient to bring your pre-printed ticket with you.
What happens in case of inclement weather?
Gardens Aglow takes place in snow or rain, but in the event of really bad weather, visitors may check www.heritagemuseums.org to see if we are closed. Updates will also be posted to Heritage’s facebook page and to our twitter account (@HeritageMuseums).
Does Heritage Museums & Gardens have parking facilities? Is parking free?
Parking at Heritage Museums & Gardens is ample and free. A recently completed accessible parking area will make it easier than ever.
How do I get around Heritage?
The gardens and gallery buildings are accessible via walking, wheelchair or electric scooter. A limited supply of wheelchairs is available at the ticket office. Heritage also offers complimentary golf cart transportation for visitors with mobility challenges. The golf cart transport runs on a continuous loop through the gardens stopping at each gallery building and the Magnolia Café. When visiting Heritage, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and giving plenty of time to experience all that the gardens and gallery buildings have to offer.
Is Gardens Aglow outdoors?
Gardens Aglow has a combination of indoor and outdoor activities. Throughout the gardens, there are over 10 miles of holiday lights and decorations to enjoy.

Does Heritage have a tram or bus?
Yes, Heritage provides complimentary golf cart transportation for visitors who are mobility impaired. There are several stops throughout the gardens and the transport runs on a 25-30 minute loop.
Is Gardens Aglow accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes, Heritage is easily accessible. There are spaces reserved for handicapped parking. Restrooms and drinking fountains are wheelchair accessible. The Automobile Gallery is equipped with an elevator, and the doors in the Automobile Gallery, Art & Carousel Gallery, and Special Exhibitions Gallery are automatic or staffed. The main path through the gardens is wide and paved and the Heritage guide map shows the route of paved pathways. While most of the route is level or gently sloping, a few areas are more steeply graded but manageable with an able-bodied assistant or use of the complementary golf cart transportation. The Heritage guide map shows which paths are paved, and where there are steep/sloping grades or stairways.
May I reserve a wheelchair?
Wheelchairs cannot be reserved in advance, but a limited supply is available at the ticket office.
Where are the restrooms?
There are several restrooms open to the public at Heritage Museums & Gardens. Restrooms are located next to The Shop at Heritage, in the Heald Center/Automobile Gallery, at the Magnolia Café, and inside the Art & Carousel Gallery.
Is there a family restroom/changing room?
Heritage has one family restroom located outside of The Shop at Heritage, as well as regular restrooms. In addition to the family restroom, the restrooms in the Heald Center/Auto Gallery are equipped with pull-down changing tables. Additional restrooms are located at the Magnolia Café, in the Art & Carousel Gallery, and near the Picnic Area at Heritage’s entrance.
Are pets allowed at Heritage?
Pets are not permitted at Heritage, nor are there provisions to temporarily house them during a visit. Please do not leave dogs or cats in your car in the Parking Lot. Properly identified Service Dogs that provide assistance for visitors with disabilities are permitted everywhere at Heritage.
Where is the Magnolia Café? How far is it from the Admissions Gate/Ticket Office?
The Magnolia Café is located along the Promenade, just a minutes’ walk from the Ticket Office. The Magnolia Café offers a selection of special holiday fare, alcoholic beverages and seasonal snacks.
