Maintenance Associate
Heritage Museums & Gardens seeks an energetic and dedicated person to assist in the care and maintenance of Heritage’s buildings and grounds. Work includes repair and maintenance of seven buildings and 100-acre grounds. Responsibilities consist of routine duties and varying work day to day. Facilities is responsible for assuring that all buildings and grounds are safe, well maintained and secure.

PreK Support Teacher - The Hundred Acre School
The Hundred Acre School at Heritage Museums & Gardens is seeking an enthusiastic individual who loves working with children.
The title of this position is “Support Teacher” because we strive to create a collaborative PreK teaching team that highlights each educator’s strengths yet has a defined role. Our PreK classroom is a three-teacher team of 1 Lead PreK teacher and 2 Support PreK teachers. The support teacher position has the ability to co-teach with the lead PreK teacher or provide an assistant teacher skillset depending on the educator’s experience and ability. The support teacher plays a vital role in a classroom’s success. They must be attentive to the room’s dynamics, providing responsive support to both students and co-teachers. As a Support Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. You will assist in implementing daily routines, reinforcing classroom expectations, and providing targeted support to students throughout the day. Your presence helps ensure that every student receives the attention and encouragement they need to thrive.

Part Time Opportunities
Retail Associate
Heritage Museums & Gardens is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Retail Associate to support daily operations at The Shop at Heritage. As a key frontline team member, the Retail Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, supporting sales transactions, assisting with merchandising, and maintaining a welcoming and well-organized retail environment. This seasonal, part-time, non-exempt position requires availability from April through October and during Gardens Aglow, unless otherwise authorized. Attendance at mandatory trainings is expected unless otherwise approved.

Admissions Associate
HMG seeks energetic and outgoing people who love museums to join our Visitor Experience staff. This seasonal, up to 30 hours per week, part-time position focuses on providing high-quality customer service during admissions, membership, and program sales transactions as well as courteous and proactive problem solving while answering in-person, phone, and email inquiries. Successful candidates will enjoy working with people of all ages and will excel at assisting the public, both onsite and via phone and email, and at serving as an informational resource for museum visitors. Requirements include comfort with technology, excellent people skills, and commitment to teamwork. Museum or customer service background and experience with point-of-sale systems and databases preferred. Some weekend and evening availability required.

Transport Driver
HMG seeks energetic and outgoing people who love museums to join our Visitor Experience staff. This seasonal, up to 30 hours per week, part-time position focuses on providing quality guest experiences while utilizing the museum’s multi-passenger vehicles to provide safe, efficient transport to visitors throughout the Heritage property. Successful candidates will love helping people, will enjoy working with visitors of all ages, and will provide hospitality-driven problem solving while assisting visitors with accessing and enjoying the museum experience. Requirements include excellent people skills, a valid driver’s license and safe driving record, and a commitment to teamwork. Some weekend and evening availability required.
