The distance from the entrance to the back end of the property is about half a mile, 10- 15 minute walk, but we hope you will stop to smell the flowers and enjoy our museum collections as well.

Depending on your plan for the day, visitors usually spend between 1 – 3 hours on the grounds.  A casual stroll of the entire grounds along the paved paths may take 45 minutes. Plan more time if you wish to enjoy:

  • Playtime with the kids at Hidden Hollow
  • Lunch at the Lilly’s Café (or bring your own picnic!)
  • Venturing off the main paths onto our nature trails
