ABOUT GARDENS AGLOW

Gardens Aglow is a celebration of lights that has become a treasured holiday tradition. This event features beautiful light displays throughout the gardens, festive seasonal décor, and fun activities for all.

At the J.K. Lilly III Automobile Gallery, visit Santa in the 1913 Ford Model T and view Heritage’s antique car collection. At the American Art & Carousel Gallery, take a ride on the 1908 Looff carousel and view winter scenes from our Currier & Ives collection.

Outdoors, stroll the lighted gardens with family and friends, roast marshmallows, go on a reindeer scavenger hunt, enjoy seasonal treats from Lilly’s Café and the Cape Cod Donuts truck, play with giant building blocks, enjoy lighted tunnels, upcycled flowers, firefly lights, a model train display, and more!

TICKETING INFORMATION

Ticket entry times are at 4:30-5:45 pm, 5:45-6:45 pm, and 6:45-8:00 pm nightly. Visitors can continue to enjoy the event until 8:30 pm.

Ticket Sales for specific groups will take place beginning at 8:00 am on the following Wednesdays: October 7 for Benefit Package Holders, Supporter Level and up Members, October 14 for all Members, and October 21 for the public.

Advance online ticket purchases are strongly advised, as timeslots will sell out quickly.

Walk-up ticket sales are not guaranteed at the door. All tickets are date and time specific, and attendance is limited to provide a safe, high-quality experience for all. Tickets are non-refundable and are only valid for the date and entry time for which they are purchased.

Refunds will not be issued due to weather (except in severe cases where the event is canceled for safety), due to any changes made to specific event offerings, or for unused tickets. Please read the Ticketing, Cancellation, and Refund Policy below before your visit.

TICKET PURCHASE DIRECTIONS

To manage the expected high volume of website traffic and to ensure a fair and efficient purchase process, we have a specific ticketing process we ask members and visitors to follow.

Note: All Heritage Members must set up a Portal Account before beginning the ticket purchase process. This is required to access tickets during the member pre-sale October 14-20 and to purchase Member-priced tickets for the event.

  • If you click the link between 7:00 am and the start of ticket sales at 8:00 am, you will be placed in a pre-queue. Do not refresh the page.
  • If you click the link after 8:00 am when sales begin, you will be directed to the ticketing page or a waiting room until it is your turn to purchase tickets. The time shown is the maximum time you will wait.
  • Note that once you leave the waiting room for any reason, you will be placed at the end of the queue if you re-enter.
  • All sales will be managed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Access to any part of the ticketing site before checkout does not guarantee tickets, as sales go very quickly.
  • The online system is the only way to purchase tickets. If you call Heritage Museums & Gardens, staff can only assist you using the same system, including queuing and wait times.
  • The number of remaining tickets will be displayed. When the event has sold out, the ability to purchase will be grayed out and deactivated.

General Admission tickets are date and time specific. With 25 scheduled nights, and 3 options for timed window entry, (4:30-5:30 pm, 5:45-6:45 pm, 6:45-7:45 pm), we hope you find the one that suits you best. Guests may enter any time during their timed window entry and stay until the grounds close at 8:30 pm.

Gardens Aglow takes place in all weather conditions. Tickets are non-refundable. Heritage will only cancel a night of Gardens Aglow if a major weather event or other emergency presents a risk to safety (for example, during severe storms with high winds). Visitors should check www.heritagemuseums.org for updated information about any closures. Updates will also be posted to Heritage’s Facebook page, and a message will be recorded on our voicemail, which can be heard by calling 508-888-3300.

If Heritage must cancel a night, ticket holders will be notified of the cancellation via email. Ticket holders will be automatically refunded. Refunds will be offered to ticket holders only in the event that Heritage cancels the event due to severe weather or other emergency. Please note that rescheduling in the event of a weather cancellation or other emergency is not offered.

If your plans change, email tickets@heritagemuseums.org or call 508-888-3300, ext. 0 to inquire about an exchange to a different available date or time. Exchanges are not guaranteed, and tickets are non-refundable. No exchanges can be made fewer than 24 hours prior to your ticket time and we cannot exchange a ticket for a sold out date or time. We do not offer ticket exchanges due to mild inclement weather – Gardens Aglow takes place in all kinds of weather, including light rain or snow. Refunds will not be issued for unused tickets.
