Gather your ghouls and goblins and get ready for a spooktacular fall tradition filled with costumes, laughter, music, and memory-making! Heritage Museums & Gardens is proud to team up with our friends from the Sandwich Middle High School for the tenth year to bring you a Halloween celebration that’s festive, family-friendly, and just the right amount of spooky.
Bring the whole crew and enjoy:
- A high-energy dance party with DJ Ooch
- Carnival-style games for kids (and kids-at-heart!)
- Face painting and temporary tattoos
- Musical Cakes game (with sweet prizes for the winners!)
- A hands-on craft to take home
- Carousel rides (yes, even the horses dress up!)
- Cozy fire pits
- Festive photo ops, seasonal décor, and plenty of Halloween magic
- Shop seasonal items in The Shop at Heritage
Costumes are optional, but welcome.
Your admission ticket will include all activities offered, with no need to make additional activity ticket purchases at Heritage. Activities include:
- Carnival-style games
- Face painting
- Temporary tattoos
- Musical Cakes game
- Dance party with DJ Ooch (starting at 4:30 pm)
- Take-home craft
- Lawn games
- Giant outdoor building blocks activity
- Carousel rides
- Fire pits
- Exhibit of antique automobiles
- Indoor and outdoor photo ops
- Festive lighting and décor throughout the grounds and galleries
- Piped Halloween music throughout
*Please note that this event will not include a haunted maze.
Snacks and drinks will also be available for purchase. Lilly’s Café will be offering Halloween-themed treats, light meals, snacks, and hot and cold drinks. Ice cream novelties may be purchased at the Cloud 9 truck located at the Parade Field. Dirty Sodas, Energy Drinks and Ice Coffees may be purchased at the Fizzy Potions truck located at the Parade Field. The Shop at Heritage will be open.
Program fees support Heritage Museums & Gardens, the SMHS PTSA, the SMHS Junior and Senior Classes, and the SMHS National Art Honor Society. Thank you for your support. Program Registration Fee: Everyone ages three and over: $15; Children 2 and under: Free (Note that it is required to register for tickets for children 2 and under even though there is no charge for the tickets in order to provide an accurate count of event attendance.)
Please note that we expect this popular event to sell out extremely quickly!
Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Wednesday, September 23 at 8 am. It is highly recommended that everyone interested in purchasing tickets create a Portal Account prior to attempting to purchase tickets to make the process as fast and easy as possible. Pre-sale tickets will be available for members of the Sandwich Public Schools community at 8 am on Monday, September 21, with purchase instructions emailed directly by the Superintendent in advance.
