DEPT:                          The Hundred Acre School
REPORTS TO:            Director of The Hundred Acre School
FLSA STATUS:            Part-time, Non-Exempt

The perfect candidate must be a passionate educator.  Perhaps you are recently retired from teaching and want to have fun with students for a day, or you are new to teaching and want to be a part of a great school.  You must be an intentional, creative, thoughtful educator who loves children, hands-on learning, STEM, and teaching and learning in the outdoors.

This position is on an as needed basis so flexibility in your schedule is a huge plus.  Substitute hours are 8:30-3:00 or 8:30-4:30 depending on the coverage needed.

Substitute teachers are invited to apply for open teaching positions prior to those positions being posted to the general public so if you are thinking you might like to join our team on a permanent basis in the future, this is a great option to get your foot in the door!

We anticipate hiring 1-2 PreK teachers for the 2025-2026 school year.
