Tuition Information
Tuition is billed bi-weekly through your Brightwheel account
- Tuition can be paid by check, cash or credit card. You can set up and auto-pay option within Brightwheel associated with your checking account or credit card.
- There is a 7 day grace period for tuition payments then a $25 late fee is accessed. If tuition is not received by the 14th day, enrollment will be suspended until tuition and late fee is paid in full. If your tuition is not paid for more than 1 month, your enrollment will be terminated.
Tuition is due regardless of your child’s attendance
- Tuition is due regardless of your child’s attendance. We do not give credits for illness (including COVID-19), holidays, vacations, or other non-attendance reasons We do not give credits for school closure due to weather, power outages, or other natural disasters.
Tuition Discounts and Relationships with Outside Support
- Tuition Discounts: 5% sibling discount or 5% military discount (These two discounts cannot be combined)
- Pre-Paid Discount: 5% tuition discount if paid in full
- Approved provider of military/DoD Fee Assistance programs administered by Child Care Aware of America (CCAoA) or Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood (MCCYN)
- We coordinate with the towns of Orleans, Brewster, and Wellfleet with their Universal PreK or Scholarship programs
Financial Assistance Fund Support
Who can apply for financial assistance at The Hundred Acre School at Heritage Museums & Gardens (HMG)?
- Your child must be accepted to the school prior to applying for financial assistance.
- Any family who believes they need financial assistance for their child to attend the school year program is welcome to apply.
- We urge families to apply by March 1.
- Applications are reviewed in a single meeting towards the end of March; after that initial review please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
- Only completed applications with all attachments will be reviewed. We consider each family’s income and size, as well as extenuating circumstances so please be specific.
- We do not award full tuition; families receiving assistance typically provide at least 65%.
- All financial assistance is awarded after review and approval by a financial assistance fund committee.

- Applications are available only online and must have a $100 fee paid to be considered.
Tuition Deposits
- Tuition deposits are non-refundable and indicate your commitment to enrollment. Failure to submit a tuition deposit indicates you are canceling your enrollment with us.
- Any family currently receiving financial assistance will have a 50% discount on the tuition deposit and can speak to Melissa if this still creates a hardship.
- Given our limited availability, we aim to ensure that no student misses the chance to enroll in our school simply because families are still deliberating on the best educational choice for their child. Thank you for your honest commitment; we are thrilled to welcome you into our school.
PreK Tuition Deposit Timeline
- $300 Tuition Deposit #1: Due by January 15
- $300 Tuition Deposit #1: Due by March 1
- $300 Tuition Deposit #2: Due by May 1
- $300 Tuition Deposit #3: Due by July 1
This $1200 will be applied to your first four tuition invoices of the school year ($300 to each invoice).
Elementary Tuition Deposit Timeline
- $500 Tuition Deposit #1: Due by January 15
- $500 Tuition Deposit #2: Due by March 1
- $500 Tuition Deposit #3: Due by May 1
- $500 Tuition Deposit #4: Due by July 1
This $2000 will be applied to your first four tuition invoices of the school year ($500 to each invoice).
